« on: August 31, 2013, 06:08:58 PM »

Hi all,

I had a very busy morning today with plenty of digging, I had a few silver items, including my first Bristol William III sixpence, in the form of a love token, a silver shoe buckle, and a few Roman items, coins, brooch, pot mend, and other bits and bobs...

Good days detecting Dale. Love the Viccy shilling.  Your Pot Lid rings bells. I'm sure some one else found one very similar not so long ago and I'm pretty sure it was I.D'd as Roman. P'raps some one else can remember it and point you in the right direction.
