OH,  AND THIS BARREL TAP KEY,

 ALSO MY BEST FINDS  LOL,  A SMALL PALM GAURD, PROBERBLY A CHILD'S AND A SKYLARKS NEST WITH 3 EGGS IN IT,   LOL  LOL. WELL. SOME DAYS GO LIKE THAT HEY,

What signal did the Skylarks nest give Al.  ;D ;D ;D  I do like milled silver as well. Very nice find.

lol  she flopped out of the nest in front of me and scurried away to act injured to lure me away from the nest,lol.   my eyes went back to where she came from though,

Some nice finds there Al and Bluebell, never been able to find a skylark's nest myself, must have been a racket going on up in the sky?  ;D

Lovely coin Bluebell, :) Great pictures Al, really like the nest, :) I must post more pictures up, as I enjoy looking at them, and i should make more of an effort. :)

great finds there bluebell.great pics alan.the skylark usualy leaves their nest across the ground first then take of vertically this is to confuse preditors from locating the position of the nest.
i came away with a george 1st half penny. 1919 penny.small georgan buckle.victorian buckle.musket ball.top of a barrel key and bits of lead. great day out cant wait for the next one.

 HI Ian,  yeah i realised  what that bird was up too, but i wasn't falling for it mate lol, i thought it was a fledgling fleeing at first, then it looked injured, but i realised what it was up to,  if i'd have followed it  it would have been up and away ok befo e i  got too far, i was glad the to get the pic though, haven'y seen one since i was a kid,
 you had a some finds anyhow Ian, i enjoyed my day too,

I found loads of Buckles ans buttons  lead a 1p piece and 2 Copper grot right at the end of the Day I think i scared Norman to death he was near me and i was so excited to Find something old i Yelled YYYEEEESSSSSSSS !
I Heard some went  to Church farm anyone find anything ???

I think i good day was had by all tho well done Norman!

well done all on the finds it is great to see wildlife pics for a change this world is a great place well done mate very hard not to step on them before you find it why worry about finds when you can find something like that ;) (phil)

Thanks guys, and yes Phil  its nice to enjoy and experience the wild life too,  i tried not to disturb the grass too much as i didn't want to leave my scent there.
