While out detecting today I found these" metal mould" of someones teeth very strange any ideas ? they are very heavy would not want these in my mouth Cheesy can anyone I.D for me what age are they ? and are they a mould ?

dentists make a rubber mould  by getting someone to bit down on it then they make a plaster mould like the one you have there and then they use that to make crowns ect
maybe in the old days a dentist would use different material ,maybe they used to let the patient keep the moulds ?
