Well, managed to go out again today, last day before work Booooo Sad. It rained again last night and the fields were little more than quagmires Shocked but undeterred and in the spirit of a true detectorist I battled on regardless, after what seemed like an eternity squelching around I managed to winkle out this rather battered Charles hammered (I think), making it three for the year so far Smiley Tried to carry on for a bit longer but the mud finally defeated me and I made my way home closely resembling one of the clay people and carrying about an extra stone in weight Cheesy

u done better than me mate.up early nice full breaky off to roman site full of joys and anticipation.ended up covered in mud with 4 shotgun ends and a iffy stomach a dodgy sausage i expect.trotted home lol.
