Anyone suggest a decent beach for detecting on in our area ?  Just waiting for a high tide and a bit of a storm to kick things up a bit !

Thanks for the advice , the holiday traffic will have gone by then as well  and the beaches should be relativley clear of holidaymakers  !

you could always get some freshly dropped gold though.the stuff is everywhere,just need right conditions to get it.good luck
