Hello all,
Me and Sodbuster went to speak to the farmers on two sites this evening. One is around 50 acres and the other is around 120 ish (forgotten actual size but that is close). Farmers happy for us to use the land and they look like good sites.

Sodbuster is going to map the sites out in the next few days but I think we need to get on the land as soon as we can as a group, we can use it as the first club meeting as well!

I'll speak to Sodbuster in the next couple of days to see what we can arrange.

As this is a new club and new permission could we please keep the numbers down to the current 11 who have responded to this thread, when we are more established and have some established permissions we can then look at more members, just keeps it more manageable for the time being.

The people I have so far are_

Hotmill
Sodbuster
Jayhay69
Dungbeetle
CTX3030
Herbie
Christoph1945
Iawnski
Digitup
Grego
Stevo

Please pm me your names and e mail adresses.

The chatroom is up and running now so check in from time to time. I will be posting most of the information in the chatroom from now on.

I think we need a new name for the club, any ideas anyone?

Will keep you updated

Why not keep the name associated with North Wales, bigger catchment area may encourage more members and be easier to find on the internet.

Hi Guys, what do you reckon? shall we go with North Wales Dirt Diggers then?

Hope I don't seem pushy, I'm just trying to keep the momentum up, if we hang around too long people get fed up, drift off etc.

I'm currently trying to contact Sodbuster to arrange the first dig. Will let you know when we have something firm.

I will be popping in and out of the chatroom from time to time to see if anyone is there.
