Realised i had posted this in club news.....re posting here for all to see.
Detecting on old donkey field in Deganwy, near 17th Century watch tower...ring pulls galore and then, just as i was going home i swung coil over a big fat cow pat....the rest is history as i unearthed a rather worn but very welcome Henry V11 groat of 1505,
Only just enough detail after very careful cleaning to identify it.
The coin was really deep in hard compacted pasture...just registering on Deus depth meter.
a few feet away i had a very deep signal again, this time it was a 1/2 new pence piece....go figure lol
