Title: Re: LAZER HAWKEYE Post by: Tinman (paul/Lisa) on December 15, 2009, 10:15:31 PM I thought mine would just be a stop gap detector but so far really pleased with it. I still dont know if they any good on beaches though as Ive yet to try it on a beach. I tried the laser on a test bed compared to the SE, yes there is a difference on the deeper finds but it still picks out objects between 7" and 8", considering 90% of finds are in the top 5" The SE is better but £400 better? I dont think so, and as for the £1200 /£1400 machines cant see it myself

I bought the base level Hunter one off a forum member last year as a spare. Using it reminded me of my old Treasure ace 100 easy to use and i didnt miss much and great fun to use. |
