Hi Kev
When I lived in Bridgend, a Great Spotted Woody was a regular visitor to the garden for the last 2 years.  He used to eat the seeds from the feeder and particularly enjoyed a suet block.
Here is a photo of a Redwing - during the hard winter of 2009 / 2010 we had birds coming into the garden that had not been in before.  The Redwing was one, and I was lucky enough to see three Fieldfares in that garden for a few weeks - they were eating the apples and pears thrown down for them.

Here is a photo of a Fieldfare sharing the garden with a couple of Blackbirds.

Some great photos guys. I thought I was the only closet Ornithologist on DW. Me and the kids have been feeding the birds regularly for the last couple of years and the daughter has her book to try and tell me what they are. I never thought about taking some pics but will do from now. So far we have attracted the normal House Sparrows, Blue Tits and Blackbirds but among the more unusual visitors are All three of the Woodpeckers. Great Spotted, Lesser Spotted and Green. A pair of Gold finches, Bull Finch, Jay and Grey and Pied Wagtails all reasonably common in the UK but where we are in the Welsh Wilderness not that common. Oh yes they all have to vie for our treats with a fiercely territorial Robin who I call Saddam. Pictures will follow.
