Title: Yesterdays double hammie Post by: Dale on February 17, 2014, 02:56:58 PM Hi all, had a couple of hours out yesterday and managed 2 hammered coins a lizzy and a much more interesting one with two pellets beside neck, yet to be id as iv just cleaned them ;)

The Doc will tell us we are wrong now :D have a shot at the unit ;) I need a reference book really if im to start collecting the celtic ;) Thanks for the id on the brooch its a early ish one then, its a shame the coins are so far gone it would of been nice to date them... im expecting the Romans to have been near this site earlier tho, as there is a iron age hill fort in the woods, nothing of that era is ever found tho on the farm land around.
