Found this yesterday near Warminster, measures 4cm across and weighs 179 grams. Certainly looks silver, light rubbing with the thumb cleans up the surface to show silver base. Got a feeling it might be a Dagger Hilt or similar, no hall mark. On the other hand could be Massey Ferguson...lol  Grin If anyone has come across one like this be good to hear from you? Im not much help sorry staterchaser but if its silver its a nice weight at 179g or is it 17.9g as its only 4cm across? Id start by getting it tested to confirm the metal and if it is silver then maybe get someone to look at it properly in hand.
What's on the other side? Wink
