Had a good day today and managed to find a Medieval dagger quillion and pommel. The rest of the dagger was in the soil but had rusted away to nothing I could salvage.

The problem with that Val, is it would be like impaling someone with a giant splinter, you can’t beat cold steel.

Hey, dont knock the splinters. They can be lethal. Go and ask one or two in the cemetary. Shocked

I had one in the back of my leg when I was a teenager, had to have it cut out. Nasty. Them park benches were real rough Roll Eyes

Val

p.s. thats a beautiful dagger, lovely find.

I like that Steve - great find. I wonder if it would be worth getting a blade and handle remade for it and return it to its former glory?

Nice find Steve. I like the way you have shown the dagger with the rural background. Good effect!
