Hi all,
Im new to detecting can anyone give me advise on local clubs pleasa?
I live in Cheshire but spend most of my free time in North Wales
Abergele area.
Is there any clubs and are they admitting any new members?

Hi Loz.
There are the North Wales dirt diggers all over the place in here, drop them a pm and i am sure they will give you all the advice and help you need.
Great bunch in here you will get a great head start.

Hey there Loz, im new to detecting also, if you fancy it your more than welcome to come for a dig on my dads farm on sunday, 17th century 32 acres and never been touched/detected, as im sure you are, im just keen to get to know other peeps and also get some tips/tricks from other peeps,  but it seems you need to be in the clique if you wanna get somewere in this hobby.Anyways the invite stands for you for sunday,

Hey D. M you keep plugging away at your dads farm and you will find things, don't be in too much of a hurry, 32 acres will keep you going for a good while.

Well said dungbeetle, D M  sounds like you potentialy have a cracking site
there to be going on with, and as your dad is a farmer , that could possibly
get you permission on other local farms . Oh boy I envy you. get some pics up
of your finds.

Hi Discrim-Me, I,m living in Afonwen and relatively new to MD. I've just seen an old post of yours regarding your dads farm. First of all, how did the dig go. And as fellow members have said, its difficult to get in the clubs, so therefore would you be interested in going out together on future digs if that's ok with you. If not, would it be ok to get permission from your dad to do some fields. Many thanks, Dean
