Paul after 3 months doing up the house you deserved a good days detecting Iv looked at your finds a few times today, but cant work out what that artefact might be? Iv had a few ideas but nothing came of it it is a strange one but it looks familiar lol, I think its one of them finds where you put it away and forget about it, and all of a sudden one will pop up in the future and you will get your id, il keep my eyes open

Hi Dale, my dealer mate reckons that bronze object looks roman but not sure what it's use was, geordiefred reckons poss lynch pin?? I thought by now some one on D/W would come up with an ID, chuck it in the drawer  and wait as you said mate

I think that's best at the moment Paul lol, its definitely a annoying one...It will pop up one day
