Title: Re: RARE Club rally 21st of june 2009 Post by: mole on June 21, 2009, 10:10:59 PM Well yes ::) Stuart my first find of the day was a circuluar lead weight about three inches in diameter by a quarter inch thick found using my explorer at a good twelve inches swapped to my whites m6 the find rate increased ten buttons a spindle whorl a candlestick holder a queen victoria bunhead penny not sure of the date plenty of scrap lead and aluminium I think I can lay claim to the oldest find of the day a worked flint scraper which made an appearance when Idecided to dig a dodgey signal ??? stil it was nice to meet other members of R.A.R.E the scenery was great good day all round ;)mole
