I won't be coming. Got a photoshoot with the choir in the morning then got a concert in the afternoon with Ogmore Valley Brass Band and may even have rehearsal with Maz in evening. So a busy day!

Well yes ::) Stuart my first find of the day was a circuluar lead weight about three inches in diameter by a quarter inch thick found using my explorer at a good twelve inches swapped to my whites m6 the find rate increased ten buttons a spindle whorl a candlestick holder a queen victoria bunhead penny not sure of the date plenty of scrap lead and aluminium I think I can lay claim to the oldest find of the day a worked flint scraper which made an appearance when Idecided to dig a dodgey signal  ??? stil it was nice to meet other members of R.A.R.E the scenery was great  good day all round ;)mole

Hello  :) Phil /Alan yes I really enjoyed the day!! hope Phil is,nt going to complain he,s put weight on due to eating so many sweets  ;D Phil anytime I can help just pm me so you liked the m6 then got to say it was only my third time using it and my finds rate shot up in fact I was following in others footsteps namely explorer users and still finding stuff :o :o Alan I admire your concentration when detecting now wonder you,ve made so many good finds over the years nice to meet you Phil /Alan and the rest of the members see you all again in the near future good hunting  ;)mole

 yeah, you noticed hey lol ,  the consentration,  there is a happy medium mate, not too much, and not too little, but a calm run in the middle,,  plus the land reading,

i could'nt make the rally......i was playing with the formula one cars at silverstone !! :D...but i hope you all enjoyed the day.....byron
