Title: TOWIE
Post by: handyman [Alan} on August 25, 2013, 06:44:35 PM
An early start saw 4 of us head off towards the wilds of Essex. We braved the zero visibility, due to water spray and heavy rain, on the M1, and arrived shortly after the start.

A quick change into detecting gear and away we go. There were many wonderful finds found by others including one guy who had a silver thimble, half sovereign, viccy half crown and a silver posy ring. What a day he had.

Amongst our crew there were some good finds, but this hammered is baffling me.

Any idea please.

Cheers

Trust you to find something we've never seen before. ;D  I'm sure Peter will know what it is. ;)

Nice to hear you all had a good day. So did I, I painted a door. ::)

..and here's a couple of other nice finds from yesterday. A lovely button with a crown motif and a pair of cufflinks, still joined together, which was a surface find.

Nice finds Alan. Unusual design on the cufflinks.
