Did anyone hear the news clip this morning about Llandudno beach ?  Seems they've got too much sand up one end and none down the other so the Council is going to spend thousands of pounds to level things out a bit.
Sounds like a few North Wales detectorists will have a good time. Best of luck to them. I wish someone would do it down here. Roll Eyes

went past  there the other day and there was  loads of piles of  stone there and looks like they were  leveling  it out with A machine there was A piece in the papers about the council trying for funding to put sand on the beaches because they had to cancel the sand castle comps last year because of the lack of sand

would that be west beach, or the beach from the pier to the theatre, that they are on about?

last time i was there, west beach was fine, but the other only had sand by the pier.
