Title: Re: more beach finds Post by: Dryland on April 08, 2014, 09:35:26 PM How easy are you finding it to handle all the controls and program the Blisstool, and how well do you find it working on wet sand ?
The reason why I'm asking is because the fella who was importing them, if my memory serves me right, said that he had never had the chance to properly test it on wet sand. He was going to give a demonstration and a trial on wet sand at one of the Swansea M D C digs, but unfortunately he became ill before this ever took place. I watched a lot of videos it took me about a week to figure it out once you know its so easy to use and boy its deep I dug hole 18 inch and more for some of the items I found, and working in wet sand not a problem I have even used it in the sea. The sov elite is a beast on sandy beaches but when its iron and hot rock infested its not as good. The beach I am finding all this stuff is full of iron and hot rocks, it's a pebble beach not much sand on it.
