Da Monkey:
Hi Guys,

Grunal Moneta has confirmed that he will be able to give us all (The Hereford Metal Detecting Society) a talk on "Hammered Coins, a basic identification guide" on 26th November 2015 in Hereford.

Grunal is an advisor to the British Museum on Medieval Groats and has a vast wealth of knowledge about Hammered coins, their history and identification. People can bring along any coins they would like ID'd by him.

Members and non-members are all invited, but numbers will be limited depending on the venue which is yet to be 100% confirmed, but is likely to be the Richmond Club, Hereford, opposite the football ground and Theatre. The Hereford club will be subsidising the event, but as food is being provided we will have to charge a nominal fee of £2 per member and their direct family members and £4 for non-members. The event should start around 7pm.

DW members are invited, but we will need to know numbers, so if you would like to attend please post "add me" with the names of any guests. As we need to limit numbers we are planning on keeping the signup list open for around the next 2 weeks, but may have to close earlier if we fill places, so please do not delay if you would like to come.

This is a rare oppertunity to see Grunal as he rarely visits this area of the country. We hope to see some DW people there, Mrs. Steptoe will confirm that Grunals last talk was well worth the effort I'm sure :)

Mrs Steptoe:
Hi Andy. Please put me and Mr.S down for the Hammered Coin Talk on the 26th.Looking forward to it!  Pay at the door as last time?

Da Monkey:
Your places are assured Mrs. Steptoe, look forward to seeing you there :)

Anyone else interested in coming along ?
