out today with gavin..pipster..and special guest rob1974..back to oxfordshire to try a different part of the farm.some say you have to walk over it..well today gavin ( saxon ) did exactly that.. finding a staggering 5 hammereds..silver denarius..one bronze roman..and also a lovely medievil key..welldone gavin it could be a long time before you beat that record my friend.
special guest rob74 also found 2 silver hammereds welldone rob hope you enjoyed the day out mucker..our pipster also found a hammered.and one nice roman bronze.along with a few buckles to add to his collection.welldone pipster..myself i did.nt find a hammered today..slightly feeling sorry for myself but i can take it lads..lol..
i did manage 2 roman bronze.a william 4th..a nice george 3rd penny.. the first milled silver on the farm in the shape of a bullhead six-punce followed shortly with a nice thimble..another great enjoyable day out guys look forward to another return shortly.
here are most of the finds...i did forget to take a shot at pipsters roman bronze im sure he will add it to the thread.
