Title: Another Pembrokeshire Roman Post by: wittsy1 on August 28, 2015, 02:19:14 PM Afternoon folks. Had an afternoon out yesterday in freshly harvested spud field. Anyway after about an hour of nothing to right home about I got a nice shrill tone, had a dig and out popped this Roman coin. Very nice I thought as I filled the hole in, stood up and gave the area another sweep and bugger me another shrill tone so I had to dig out the same hole again and this time, a bit deeper down, out popped what I think might be a fragment of Roman Brooch. I must remember to check the hole before filling in.
