Before forking out thousands for the GPX you should try it!

I spoke to a user who sold his. I don't think it's a nice machine to use.

Be careful what you wish for.  Grin

I'd like a better version of the Whites V3. Lighter, faster and more user friendly.

I think Fisher are bringing out a multi frequency soon so may be that?

True but I'm dreaming, as if I had one it would only be used "maybe" once or twice a year on those deeeeeep medieval sites.
The rumour mill has been turning for a while regarding Fisher's new machine, dual frequency or so I've heard.

Jerry, we may not need a second machine to try..............

The V3.0 software update due out shortly (free) for the Deus sounds good.

A gold prospecting mode that I have heard picks up a minute piece of gold 12 inches in air!

And, I'm told that increasing the recovery speed on this new update does not decrease depth as at present.

And, some sort of off-set Tracking.

I will believe that when I see it  Grin

Lets hope its not like there all metal motion/non motion modes that are totally useless in the field that are also a nightmare to set up correctly

As to the updates been free, well again I will believe that when I see it.

Well just remember that if it picks up a tiny piece of gold up at 12", it's going to pick tiny pieces of everything else up at that distance too....Nothing special about gold as a metal.

I would like to try the Arado 320, back when I started Arado were the best in the business, but they stopped making hobby machines to concentrate on military machines. Now they are back in the hobby side of things I would like to try one for a week or two, but not willing to spend £1200 on a gamble.

Would also be interested in playing with the Detech EDS, but again cannot justify spending £900
