That looks interesting.  What size is it ?  Is it finger size and what do you reckon the patern is. Looks like hearts but can't quite make it out.

I've seen one on the Metal Detecting World site that is similar but has no patern in the middle. That is I.D'd as medieval but no date.
From the patena, which is very nice, I'd say 16 or 1700's but I'm only guessing. Might be worth getting it to your nearest PAS office.
Lovely find and in pretty good condition.
