Well done everyone that found goodies , well done on everyone that attended. The farmer was pleased at the end of the day. Everyone took their rubbish , everyone stayed off fields we couldn't go on , all the newbies were made to feel welcome. Two guys told e today that they decided to keep on coming to our rallies as they were made to feel welcome and everyone was so friendly. I think that speaks volumes for Detecting Wales and more importantly its members.

Well done again and see you at the next rally.  Smiley

Great report and pics - thanks for a great day again!

I had a medieval open-topped thimble, half an Edward I penny, an unusual James II fourpence love token, a copper alloy ring and various other bits and pieces. Will add some pics tomorrow.

What else can I say but WOW!!!! There are not many rallies that produce that amount of finds, what a fantastic site. Well done to all that found and tried to find. I'm sure that's a farm that hasn't seen the last of DW.

Hey!  Less of the Evil Bob!  I'm angelic (well so my wife tells me *cough*) and she should know, 41 years married today!

Yesterday was hard going but enjoyable, myself, my son steve76 and my newbie friend bigbri (standing behind me in photo) didn't have much (apart from a car full of mud) but here's the best of what I found. The nicest object is that enamelled disk thingy, could it possibly be Roman?

Cheers
Bob

Great rally again, some lovely finds it's amazing how much still comes out of fields that had been searched before. I liked your Groat Stan. The mud got the better of me in the end as I packed up about 4.15 but I enjoyed the day out thanks to Rob and all his helpers.
