I live up a hill. Nice view but we get sideways rain too. Good job we're well planted or we'd take off and end up in Folly Farm with the Giraffes Shocked

Yea and what happens on Sunday. Bloody Sunday dinner at dinner time. I'm going on strike. He knows where the bread bin is, I think. Grin

Detecting in the rain has never bother me personally. I have had some of my nicest finds when its been tipping down!

I dont object to the rain. I have to put up with it, I have 2 dogs that get walked every day, whatever, and a horse (lots of mud). I've usually got at least 2 wet coats hanging around. It's the wind that gets me. Never liked it.
Could be said that it's the best time to go. Less people, better signals. I did go once, it was pooring and I found......lots of iron. Angry
Must try it again only choose a better site Grin
