we have a detecting member in our club {R.A.R.E.) and he is 83 years old and still detecting   

does anybody know if he is the oldest ......or does anybody know different

That’s RARE to find a detectorist older than the things he’s digging up.  ;)

 Well if you combine Ray and Nobbies age Thats 140 does that count. LOL ;D ;D ;D

86 Is the oldest that I have known.

I do know one guy, now out most weeks at 82.

Iam only a young-un, just about to be 78. ;) :)Jerry.

C.H.A.D.S used to have a club secretary who was 82, what was more amazing he married  again at  79 to a girl who was only 32 , then banged out another kid. :o That’s one probe too many I guess.  ;D There's hope for you Jerry  ;)

There's a guy in the Weymouth & Portland MDC who is 82. He is out most weeks and keeps finding some cracking finds.
