Hi, Found this during the week, from great depth with my exp II. I have been checking out the usual id related internet websites, my books and magazines and have not found anything similiar. It is made of copper alloy. Is it a type of buckle or stap junction thingy. It looks quiet animal like (ie) the protruding forks could be ears! Grateful for any feedback and dating of this object.
Many Thanks

It looks like a bottle opener that screws to the side of your cupboards in the kitchen,   we used to have one simular to that in the 60's,
