Today is the Winter Equinox,  the shortest day.  So looking on the bright side, it's all down hill towards Spring from here on in.
Will it make any difference ? I doubt it but we can always hope.

I have always looked at the 21st December as the start of another slide to a warmer period, as I get older the slope seems steeper and omg it's the 21st June again.

Well, it's certainly quite a warm 21st for once.

Off work now until the New Year - and hopefully getting a bit of detecting in Up North too....

Am looking forward to the brighter days, although that does usually mean less land to detect on.....

My 57th Winter equinox blimey number 58 will be here before you know it. Is it true that we get 2 minutes extra light per day from here on.

You're 3 months out for an equinox Val and a day early for the Solstice which is today, over here in the land of odd it's a big day and most shops you go in will wish you "happy Yule" or something similar and I'm sure there were a few parties up on the Tor last night Undecided
So continuing the weirdness that is Glastonbury.......

Ha Ha Ha  I'll have to add Equinox and Solstice to my bowl and bowel syndrome Geoff. It comes with age, you know.

Actually the Solstice was at midnight, I think, so take your pick which day, yesterday or today.

Love the card .
