Med 2 (Part 2)

Back on the field today conditions was interesting weather started lovely and sunny, very very windy that was until the storm which I managed to shelter from in a hedge and took the picture you will see the rain was bouncing of the field the picture does not really do the storm justice it was a bit special lucky I was nearing the end of detecting. No hammered to show but a few interesting bits, any idea on the bronze item it’s got me stumped at the moment it looks as if the small curved bit fits in the thumb so may be part of a dumpy handle ???it certainly has a lot of age to it. Tomorrow I will be back weather permitting and give the big boy a go (CTX) the Deus can have a rest and dry of

Nice finds Paul, a good old storm like that will help the ground settle down .... All my best finds are made when it wet and muddy, my machine loves it.
