Just purchased 15" WOT coil for my sov.
I read many good opinions about this coil from USA forums, but I would like to know some opinion from UK, Welsh sov users. Something about sensitivity, weight, pinpointing, etc.

Mick I used one for several years with the Sovereign, It's a brilliant bit of kit for the beach or pasture. I finally switched to the 12x15 SEF which is a little more stable so can be run with more sensitivity.

I'm experimenting with my Wot coil and sovereign combination for the beach .Good clear signals, good pinpionting and not too heavy compared to the standard 10" bbs coil. What I find is that I cannot turn up the sensitivity too much because of falsing. I can run the sensitivity higher with the smaller bbs coil. Ovbiously its got better ground coverage but as for  better depth I'm not so sure .If I could run it at higher sensitivity it would give better depths but at the expense of more falsing .It would be interesting to see what results you get. -Happy hunting Grin

Will this coil for a Sovereign fit other Minelab detectors?
