Thanks for posting pic for me barny, its a looped palstave with a broken loop i think,can someone tell me if is it a good enough find for me to take to Shrewsbury Museum for them to have a look at

Very strong signal Alan, i have a minelab quattro and it was very loud.I am very new to detecting and did not think it was anything much and it was Barny who said it was a very good find, well pleased with it.

I just did a normal search, because i did not think it was an important find, and the grass is very long now so i will have to wait for it to be cut and try and find the spot again.

nice axe  Smiley i found one almost exactly the same, and showed it to Mark lodwick he said there has been about a hundred or so found in wales so its a good find. well done
