Title: Lead object and coin ID please Post by: charlieboy on February 24, 2012, 10:37:05 PM Hi All
At last the days are starting to get longer! Just enough daylight to sneak in a quick half hour detecting after work today.Found this odd looking object (lead I assume) looks as though someone has filled a large spoon with molten lead and let it set, also appears to have quite a few 'deliberate' looking scratches on it. Also found this coin; it's a similar size to a George V penny and you can just make out a picture of a shield - any ideas? Hope you can help Cheers Charlie ;D Title: Re: Lead object and coin ID please Post by: Tafflaff (Rob) on February 24, 2012, 10:40:02 PM Pretty sure the top one is a palm guard, they come in all shapes and sizes, fit in the Palm to push a needle through leather ect.
