Title: Grots and Silver
Post by: celticspikey on March 06, 2015, 07:53:56 PM
Hi guys & girls, I haven't been to active in the fields of late so a trip out for a few hours was on the cards :P so yesterday I found myself on a piece of ground along side a roman site, the main part of the field is only cultivated but the bottom part was ploughed and rolled ready for some bird ground cover.
It measures about 10 metres x 200, as you can see it was worth it, the grotty romans came up with the nicer of the two Siliqua , the other Siliqua came out on its own in the opposite field and not associated. Hope you enjoy the pictures, I went back today and will post my finds tomorrow, entitled a brooch day :-X :-X ;)
