hi guys I don't usually post these things but its todays find and in pretty sure that im dealing with a roman/ ba causeway route  between point A and B,, now all along this route im picking up bronze age items as well as roman broaches  coins etc and I just trying to figure out what sort of period the romans used what I think is a old ba period track,,,now ive tracked this route now for about 2 miles across my permissions and every field along the route has produced items of the period,,,,,,so is the broach 1st,2nd 3rd 4th c?......cheers for any help.

It's a bit too far gone to give an id of its exact type but no earlier than the 40's AD and no later than 120 AD, If you have found coins then they are going to be a far better source of dating evidence.
It's worth remembering that the reason there seems to be a lack of prehistoric routes is because many became Roman roads which in turn became the roads we use today.

cheers for the id ,,here is a mix of random  finds from the route yesterdays broach came from a field that ive just acquired that by my quess work would be included as part of the route. there has been many more finds from either side of this route but that I think is due to the cropmarks that seem to border both sides but what is consistant is that no field has not turned up something from the period in a line for which has now gone through 3 seperate permissions. I was going to post the dinaris found along this route but youll probably be sick ;D
