Chris is your new one metal ?   what makes you think it will break ?  I've never heard of one giving up the ghost.

Save your money, I'm sure you wont need one, they're as tough as they come, unless you do end up throwing it up the wall  Roll Eyes even then I don't think it would break.

Mine, Mike's, Taff's, Bangor citizen's and those are just the ones that spring to mind Val, it seems they all break eventually Undecided

The mind boggles at what you all do with them   Shocked   Only thing I can think of that might help mine, I never put it down on the ground and maybe I don't detect as much anyway.

I am on my third one on old faithful.

They are getting harder to find as well.

Thought they were the best Mark but I've been looking at the Evolution ProCut.  Now that's a serious piece of kit.
Watched a clip on YouTube, made me smile. The Fella (Pondguru) making a big thing about how sharp it is cut himself. Plonka  Grin

I've been using a Draper mini since I started detecting and it's done well but I think the salt water has got to it. The wood inside the plastic shaft is rotting and the metal is covered in rust. Poor little thing, it's time for it to go. Cry
