Bridges help dormice to cross Church Village bypass

  As  our local By Pass road is getting near to Completion , ( The largest project in the country)
i noticed its been on the national news,  folks moaning about the expence of the Doremouse crossing ect lol..
 i think there are a few of them along there from what i have seen.

 good on them i say,   they were obligated to do that though to build the road, one of the agreements,  all along that road is homes to all sorts of wildlife, some rare,  some of their favourite habitats.
 newts butterflies, frogs and toads and birds ect,
 tunnels have been built underneath in places too for the ground animals, frogs and toads, rabbits ect  to cross to their breeding grounds,

 even the farmers have to leave a yard or so grow around the hedges these days and not allowed to plough it  to leave to encourage  the wildlife,

before i seen this on the news yesterday..i thought they were bridges for squirrels to get across the road..... .......my question is...will the dormice ever use them or will they just run across the road?.....byron

 ha ha Byron,  well i bet the squirrels will use it too, you know what they are like, lol
 a woman on the radio said she's only seen  cat up there lol.

My daughter saw it on the news up in Cambridge, people on the t.v. thought it a waste when the R.C.T. is one of the most deprived areas in the country they said,

at least they thought of the wildlife there,   they have gone through  very large areas of their breeding grounds and habitats, some are  rare,

 i thought it for overhead cables or something,  not being able to see it properly while driving lol
