I never heard of any official program cards walsamra.  The book your looking for is the Andy Sabisch Minelab Quattro & Safari Handbook.  You usually can get it from Regtons but I've just looked and they don't seem to have any in stock.
Give them a ring and ask, they're very helpful.

Hi buddy, dont bother buying those cards, they arnt much help at all, your better off learning the tones or sell your Safari and buy a Minelab Sovereign, that's what i ended up doing, good luck either way 👍👍

Don't forget to ask for help.  There are still a few on here who stuck with and can give valuable advice. It's not an easy machine to learn but once learned it wont disappoint.

I hated it to distraction for months but had to stick with. It has it's own language, which in my opinion is far superior to most other machines.

Thanks for the advice Val
I will try using it on all metal first. I am told that is the best way to get to know the machine.  Any advice for me ?

Hey Walsamra, As Val said stick with the Safari and don't be put off it.  I suppose everyone has their own opinion but I found it to be one of the easiest detectors to learn. If you google MINELAB SAFARI PROGRAMS and scroll down about 4 places to -  GETTING THE MOST OUT OF YOUR MINELAB SAFARI METAL DETECTOR, theres a great video on there by a fellow called Gordon, apart from being interesting it also gives you a great program to try. I sold my Safari to buy a Deus but one day I think I'll buy another Safari as a back up machine

Hi Wal,  way to go.  I've kept my Safari as a back up, I loved it but after a break last year I suddenly found it a bit too much for me. After trying many different settings I came back to using All Metal with the Sensitivity at 18 and Low Trash. This gives you all the tones, extra recovery and depth. The iron tone is definite and to start with dig everything above it. You'll soon learn, more or less, what to expect from the different sounds.
It just loves silver and doesn't miss much else though I can't speak about gold, I never found any Cry There are a couple of other settings that are pretty good but initially keep it simple. Plenty of time to experiment when you feel more secure with the tones.
Did you find the Handbook.?

Good morning Wal,
I only just spotted your thread! I bought a copy of the Quattro-Safari handbook by Andy Sabisch only last year. I actually bought the hand book prior to purchasing my Safari from Joan Allen. Regtons are a superb company but for the sake of getting your hands on the book try some of the other companies.

If we have a club dig on Sunday have a chat with some of the minelab users, I know a couple of them have used the safari.

Hi Walsamra it's not that complicated at all really, confusing to start with maybe, it took me a year to learn the tones but I had been detecting with lots of different machines before and so came to the FBS machine with too many preconceived ideas, people who learn it quite fast generally are more open minded a bit like a child learning a foreign language they don't ask "why" it just is.
Don't take any notice of Dingdong he just threw in the towel to early it's a great machine so stick with it and it fill suddenly all make sense Wink
