I wear the disposable surgical gloves - box of 100 for around £3.50 on ebay.  Can get a bit hot, but the British weather doesn't usually grant us too many hot weekends a year!!  Keeps my hands clean enough to handle my sarnies at lunch time. Cheesy

Why bother?

The older generation, who never had hand sanitizers or had bever heard of them just gave their hands a wipe in the grass, on their aprons, on their trousers or any old rag just to get their hands dry and they lived to tell the tale.

Children with dirty messy hands just wiped their hands just like coal miners who could only eat their lunch underground with dirty hands and they also lived to tell the tale.

People have eaten with dirty and soiled hands for thousands of years and lived to tell the tale so why bother?

There are probably more bacteria and germs in your kitchen, next to your toothbrush and everywhere else you go in towns etc so a day detecting is healthier for you and with less germs and bacteria around..

So enjoy your day detecting and enjoy eating your food with dirty hands.. probably safer than eating at home or in a cafe.
