hire of metal detector

Hi!
We have just bought a small holding and keep horses in the fields. The problem is that I have a feeling there might be nails and perhaps other pieces of metal lying around which is very dangerous for the horses. I would like to have the field checked with a metal detector. Does anyone have a good idea how I go ahead with that? I am totally novice on metal detecting but thought I might be able to hire one alternatively have someone with a metal detector come and do it for us. Thankful for help

(We live outside Carmarthen)

I live roughly 16 miles from you but at present Im busy working on a project and wouldnt have the time to search ;0(
But iF you contact The Pembroke Prospectors,Llanelli Metal Detecting club,or Swansea Metal Detecting club im sure they,ll be only to happy to help you out ;0)

hi jazz,i detect on some farms with horses and you be suprised what can come up things a lot more dangerous that nails so be careful.viv
