Popped out yesterday for 2 hours no gold but I did manage to find something shinny and a funny flower thing any ideas please

First one looks like a rose saddle pommel, and the silver 3d piece is a nice find. They were mainly all silver up to 1900, then went pre decimal mix alloy.
Well rescued.

Thabks for the extra pictures.

I think Alun is probably correct with this being a horse harness mount, bridle boss, or something similar, 19th century.
