Looks to be either a loom weight or a spindle whorl. Incredibly hard to date.

What size is it Ken? if only the size of a large musket ball then it's probably a net weight. It won't be a loom weight as they are "BIG". Wink

cheers guys and its a cylindrical circle if you know what i mean, and about the  size of a gobby(large marble)inch and a half -2 inches.
