Couple of cannons i found recently.What was their use?Never understood them can anyone enlighten me on this ???

They were kids toys and some could actually be fired! Always a good idea to let your kids play with explosives eh! Nice find mate never found one myself!

Lets go mad and see if I can get a picture small enough to post !

One is a Georgian toy cannon with U.S. Quarter for scale.
The second is a full size iron cannon after six months of cleaning/sandblasting and rust treatment (just under six feet long).

Bet that 6ft Iron cannon give a hell of a signal , and that coin next to it must be massive!!!!!!!!! or is the 1st one the big un  ;D
