Title: Snider Enfield Rifle Post by: Jonola (Jon) on July 11, 2009, 06:44:35 PM British Snider-Enfield Rifle, calibre .577". This rifle was made in 1862 but was converted from muzzle-loading to breech-loading about 1867. This rifle was presented to the 1st Durham Rifle Volunteers at Stockton by Captain Thompson as a musketry prize and was won by Sergeant Chambers. Acc No: 2093

It would give your desert Eagle a run for its money ;) Incidentally, my skill at arms instructor in the army told me if you are more than 30 feet away from your target with a pistol....chuck it at them!
