"If the detector has to be placed in storage, first charge the batteries to half of their capacity (40 to 70%). Ideally you should then discharge/recharge them at least once a month. Do not store your device for long periods with discharged batteries!" Title: Re: XP Deus Coil Question Post by: adrian wall on July 04, 2014, 07:39:53 PM Thanks geoff.I should have read my Manual.
Title: Re: XP Deus Coil Question Post by: hoarder on July 05, 2014, 06:21:39 AM why not just keep it charged and take it with you as a spare
just in case your 11" develops any problems out in the field Title: Re: XP Deus Coil Question Post by: JBM on July 05, 2014, 06:27:25 AM why not just keep it charged and take it with you as a spare just in case your 11" develops any problems out in the field Mike makes a good point and the coils weighs next to nothing. If you are going to a new site the coil choice can vary. In long grass, heavy stubble and rough ploughed ground the smaller coil is often best. ;) :) Jerry.
