Here's my last lot of finds, the rain we had overnight helped with detection depth, a nice medieval penny as yet not ID (feel free thou) Wink the 3 belt decorations are common finds on occupation sites but the large one has a loop still attached which is a first for me.Hope you enjoy. Smiley

Nice finds Paul, it looks like the crotal bell is made by William Gwynn, note the W on the half you have  http://www.colchestertreasurehunting.co.uk/b/bells.htm

The pennies nice, its a Henry III long cross...... WALTER ON LUND ..... Wink

Is that a little silver cross?

Some "more" lovely finds Paul and I love that bar mount with the hoop attached, shows them in a different light.
A slight correction on the crotal bell it was made by Robert Wells as it has a single W on one side, it would have had an R on the opposite side, William Gwynn although from the same place (Aldbourne) at roughly the same time had WG on the same side Wink

Dale when you say "flat top" do you mean the back edge? if so then no they were once round, on the top example you can see half of the hole where a central silver rivet would once have been and so were probably more belt hooks than dress fasteners.
They look very much like early medieval fasteners but as there are no examples on PAS (Paul tut tut get them recorded) I can't be sure Wink

Great finds.

I feel pretty certain that the hooked tags are early medieval (10th century or thereabouts)
