The clue is in the colour of the soil, working on the basis that where ever it was it doesn't snow in geometric patterns Grin as the green fields are still green then the soil has to be mixed with chalk. Largest area with chalk geology and Neolithic burial mounds in Britain?......Salisbury Plane Simples Wink

I should have guessed lol having Lodged near there with Her Majestys forces for a few years of my service in sunny Tidworth, exercising on the plain. Saying that i never saw it from the sky on and only passed it on the A303 !!

Absolutely spot on Chef, Stonehenge is the large henge at the top of the pic. Surprising how many crop marks in the fields around it as well  Smiley
