Sorry Mike but there is something wrong there, I'de be more than happy to put my Explorer XS up against the CZ and it's only got the original coil.
That's not to say there is anything wrong with the CZ they are a fantastic range of machines. But the Etrac, especially with the 12x15SEF should have no problems.

What depths were the coins at Mike ? And when you say the fisher blasted the etrac out of the water, in what way ? Did you pick up any targets ? How many targets were there ? Was the test bed soil or sand ? What were the depths of the coins you missed?

Used Fishers for years 1225x, 1265x and the 1266xb, they din't have all the bells and whistles but they find stuff that's deep.

Mike I doubt if he could open the Fisher up any more due to falsing, but why on gods earth are you messing around with presets? you have got to remember that the minelabs are made or at least designed in Australia and they are going to be set for the largest market which is the good old US of A.

I think if you check out the USA coins on the emulator none of theirs come in as far right as a £1 though I'm not sure. Make sure your ground setting is on difficult and not normal as this has been proved to blind the Etrac to large silver (same signal as a £1).

Wish I was over there as you definitely have an issue that needs sorting.
