As a gesture of friendship between DetectingScotland.com and DetectingWales.com, Reiver, who is a moderator of DetectingScotland.com (as well as being a member of DetectingWales.com) has very kindly donated a Garrett Pro-pointer pinpointer probe as a prize for a competition on DetectingWales.com.

To enter all you have to do is either have made over 5 posts since DetectingScotland.com was formed OR to have made 5 (sensible please) posts before midnight on Sunday April 18th 2010

King John has lost his treasure in the Wash. All you have to do is find it for him. Have a look at the picture below (click to enlarge it) and guess which grid square the treasure is in. Then post your entry here in the form of 'A1' or 'B2' or whatever your guess is.

The Rules:
If no-one guesses the correct location the nearest guess wins. If two or more people guess correctly or are equally close to the correct location the person who posted his or her guess first wins. One guess per member. The competition will end at midnight on Sunday 18th April 2010.

The correct location has been chosen randomly and has been sent to Reiver. We will ask him to act as independent adjudicator to ensure fair play and his decision is final on the winner.
