Looks like no other entries due to lack of snow. Which seems to have allowed other people to go detecting. Weird climate this country has. Only a few hundred feet higher and we had blizzards up here.

I'm going to have another go tomorrow as long as the snow is still around. About four inches in the fields by my house. Seems to be going a bit mushy though so need a fresh fall tonight. Very fine stuff still falling but not amounting to much now. Stacks on the deck to use though. As long as it doesn't turn to rain.

This competition stinks of a postcode lottery! How are people like me who live in areas where there is no snow supposed to enter? Are we really expected to travel to FIND snow, lol?

well we had loads at midnight and everywhere was white -- woke up this morning and all u can see are a few flakes on the ground - bang goes my entry today!

but it is cloudy and overcast - one can but hope!

New Years Eve and I still have snow. Can't ever remember waking up to a White Christmas and a white New Years Day the same holiday. Its all frozen solid now though. Just took some pics.

 Smiley Smiley Very nice picture there Toymaker.........I didn't have enough snow to even make toes/ears for a snowman where I live! The only snow we had was half an hour's worth one day last week!  Grin Grin
