This is an old one, but good one, lets seeif anyone remembers it :

There are two identical unmarked doors , one leads to heaven and all things good , the other to hell and all things evil.

In front of each door there is a guard , one guard always tells the truth , the other always tells lies , but you don' t know which is which

You may ask ONE guard ONE question only to ensure you go through the correct door

What is that question and what do you do when you get the answer ?

You ask either guard,,,,,, " if i ask your friend which door leads to heaven what will he say"   then you go through the opposite door to the answer ,,,,,, think about it
